(( 00c - I apologise about the multiple posting, but it wouldn't all fit in one post! Also, the last post is just a part of Kijani that I update quite often, to explain that. 'Oranges and Peaches'.)) x x x x x x{GALLERY.}
Curse me; Kijani Saburi.
Kijani; Pronounciation; 'Kee-jah-nee'. Meaning; 'Warrior'. Origin; Swahili. Country; Kenya-Tanzania. Region; East Africa.
Saburi; Pronounciation; 'Sah-boo-ree'. Meaning; 'Patience'. Origin; Swahili. Country; Kenya-Tanzania. Region; East Africa.
Remember me; Kija'.
Spin me; Four.
Tag me; Brujo.
Know me; A varied mix of Timber Wolf and Gray Wolf.
Align me; Dark.
Sight me; To the shallow, appearence is usually the most important aspect of a character. This is a foolish and idiotic perception, to judge company merely on how they look. But, to some extent, it can be used as an advantage - Kijani was raised from his youth to realise the flaw in every character he ever crossed, through their instant appearence alone. If he was approached by a pure-pelted, azure-eye'd femme with a petite frame and narrow jaw, he would make the immediate decision that she was feminine, vulnerable, and languorous. Though this would not be the case all of the time, it was - on occasion - likely to be correct.
The pure Dark are priced on not only their blood, but their appearence, too; if they are robust and strapping, with a broad chest and magnificent head, they are easy to recognise as a Timber Wolf, and instantly respected for this. If their pelt is coloured pitch raven, and thick coarse in volume, they have a deeper respect, for they show entirely the daunting and intimidating image that the Dark would like to achieve.
Kijani has a long blood-line, and over time, it has been gradually mixed from Timber Wolf, to Gray Wolf; the only blood variation he is cursed with is from these. Kobuk - the oldest ancestor of Kijani on record - had intended for his blood to have been passed on pure, creating a long and impressive line of Timber Wolf, all aligned under Dark. This did not happen, though; the Dark blood was gradually bred out, and mixed with Tender and Neutral.
As the Dark became desperate to find their own kind and bring them under their watch for war, they realised their priced appearence had been lost; pure Timber Wolf was difficult to find, as it had been varied; to their trepidation, they now noticed that a black shaded, muscular form of a Lupe was even more difficult to cross. Due to this, appearence became less of an importance to the Dark.
Kijani Saburi is not the typical image of Dark that was created by his ancestor, Kobuk, and his company. On the contrary, he is far from the 'approved' image of a Dark Wolf. He does, however, have the body that the Dark kind do appreciate; Kija' has the structure of a Timber Wolf, though he is not as massively proportioned. The entire length of his body is measured around five foot, from the tip of his maw, to the end of his thirteen inch tail. To accompany his striking size, is his height; at the shoulder, Kijani is stood at two feet and a half high, a memorable stance if nothing else. His appearence is quite daunting, regarding the heavy-set maw, and jaw lined with a moon-washed full array of sharpened teeth; his broad-chest, and masculine figure line the constant muscle that is stretched taut over every long, lithe leg and the ridge of his back. Positioned on either side of his shapely head is a triangular aud, often held perked and alert, matching the size of every individual, nimble paw he is carred with.
Where he is much like a Timber Wolf in his presentation, Kijani is more like a Gray Wolf in his motion; he has a long, calculated stride no matter what gait he is carried with, and it is apparent in his fluid pace that he is a proud and confident creature; his magnificent head is thrown back in an egotistical manner, and his long, sweeping tail is held with a slight curl in vanity. Where a Timber Wolf would move with a heavy and ill-shaped lope, Kija' is presented with an air of constant grace, and elegance - he is agile, with a swift sure footing. When he is in motion, the faint clipping sound of his claw on solid terra can be heard. The brute is surprisingly the weight of an average male Timber Wolf, weighing at around five stone, if a little over.
It is clear that Kijani is an able creature, the herculean muscle over his figure intense and taut, the thick and heavy size of his maw a constant warning that it could take a cannibalistic swing and tear a throat from a chamber. In his appearence alone, he is a formidable beast of a character, though he is not the cliché of Dark.
His voice is a deep, pleasing tone; masculine, and charming. When he is angered, or threatened, the sound is more vicious and harsh, chilling - with the promise of pain to come from the same jaw he is speaking from. His bodice is usually relaxed and neutral, but if his emotion is to take a negative turn, then he will appear tense and hostile, hunching each curvaceous shoulder in defense and threat, peeling back his lip to expose a poised mouth of danger, and strictly pinning both aud flatly back against his skull. Kijani's arrogance will often leave him seemingly ignorant, but he is constantly alert and poised, taking in sight, sound, and scent. The flick from the tip of his tail can present his impatience or vehemence, likely to be matching the low rumble of a growl hissing from the raw depth of his throat.
The most memorable feature of Kijani is his 'shell', which is presented in a pelt covering his entire body; it is a thick volume, though it does not rob him of his impressive figure, and it is smoothed over him in a handsome manner. His coat is never seen to be snared or tangle, stained or shamed - it is a clean sweep of sensual sheath, clearly a pride of the brujo. His pelt is feathered in a picturesque manner around his chest and slender neck which is more apparent during Winter, when his coat is of a more thickened volume.
His pelt is shaded a kaleidoscope array of incredible colour, though his 'base' colour is a plain hue of white; his under-belly, the inner of every leg from thigh to toe, and the masking of his handsome face are all the moon-washed ivor shade, matching the dazzling dye of his teeth. This basic shade is complimented with a phenomenal wash of copper; streaked from toe to thigh on the out of every leg, and brushed along the side of his lithe body and tail, the shade is a variation of intense to meek - it is most apparent as a passionate crimson and brown over his broad back, and head. Bordering this is a faint touch of black painted over his back in a claw-like pattern, reaching out to fade in to the white of his stomach. The black isn't so thick at his nape, or the back of his head; it is softly faded to a smokey grey, also making home in the inside of each aud, but disppearing around each eye of Kija'; each orb is ringed with a patch of copper, streaking down the top of his maw, and finishing at his velvet ebon nose. There is a small, natural brand of a cross over his maw in a thin black line, making his handsome face memorable and unique. Aside this, his tongue is the simple colour of salmon-pink, each pad of each paw plain black, and the plump velvet line of his lip the same raven.
What Kijani has favoured most of his appearence, is the colour of his gaze; through his long line of breeding, he has inherited a stare from his legacy that is incredibly distinctive and individual. His gaze is a natural shade of metallic blue, sprinkled with pale silver and defined with a blaze of black - the pupil in the center of his stare is wide and consuming, with a haunting depth revealing knowledge of vulnerability. It is this characteristic that is most memorable of the brute; for, once he has settled upon you with his silver stare, it will create a haunting sensation one will never have the fortune to forget.
Meet me; To cover the entire depth and complexity of a character such as Kijani would be an impossible feat, but it is simple to remember the most striking and bold nature of his character. Though he is aligned Dark, he is not predictably so - just like every other creature in the World, he is - ironically - an individual, and not only who, but how he is will portray him. The way that he is, is not made up entirely of that exactly; it is also made up of his reaction to the World, and the company around him.
In his youth, Kijani did not experience an eccentric and enthusiastic approach to life; he spent the majority of his first year of life under strict watch from the pack he resided in and with. They were compiled entirely of the Dark kind, and so Kija' was introduced directly to their way of life; he was raised in an environment of aggression, which he soon picked up on, knowing no other way of life - there was no right, there was no wrong, there was just 'Dark', and no other alternative.
Due to this, Kijani grew as a hostile and cruel creature. His general front to those around him was dominant and egotistical - he had the bodice of a brute not to be irritated, and his daunting appearence kept his company from making any trouble with him. This caused him to be arrogant, and to never cower in submission - he grew a challenging and competitive nature through his ignorance, as he was never challenged; and if he was, he played to win. Kija' became foolish and narrow-minded, believing that he was right, and no other.
As he grew, the brujo matured, and realised a thing or two - he knew at once that his challenging nature had been converted to ambition; if Kija' has a goal, he will work to any length to achieve it, and he is far too hard-headed to accept defeat, even if his goal is merely personal. Because of this, he will insist that he is constantly correct, even if he is not; the brute does not appreciate being intimidated and proven wrong, and has a short-temper. When irritated, Kijani is not in the least hesitant to show it to his company - he will become frustrated and vicious in little time, turning threatening and aggressive. His narrow-minded approach to life and hard-headed consistency that he is correct despite what he has been told make him often hostile and defensive.
Kijani has a generally negative personality, when he has been frustrated - he has a massive impatience and intolerance for idiocy, and has no fear of showing any emotion. It does not take much to make him the vicious and malicious Lupe that he is at heart. The brujo has a character that is both dangerous and deadly; his ambition and competitive nature make him an almost impossible opponent to conquer, for he will never accept defeat, and will fight to the end - not only that, but the Wolf is one of incredible strength and endurance, both mentally, and physically. Kija' does enjoy the concept of battle, for he will not be easily beaten, and, thus, has a great appreciation for the ego-boost gained from succeeding. His physical aggression will begin lightly, with a peeled lip and hail of intense verbal assault spat from his silver-tongue.
The brujo is also graced with a 'condition' known as 'blood lust'; he has the constant craving for combat and accomplishment, adorned with a scene of manic, malicious intent and a satin splash of scarlet over his own maw. It is a condition likely to make him easily-irritated and give him a short fuse, making him more likely than normal to lash out over the smallest of matter. Aside this lust, there is also his craving for sexual activity - one positive aspect of his character is how charming and delicate he can be around a fae, making him quite a whimsical and romantic brute. Though, because his mood is so easily influenced, he is a dangerously explosive character and those who are exposed to his adolescent-style mood swinging often come off worse.
Though Kija' was raised in a pack, he grew in a solitary existance, and became incredibly independent because of this. He was educated on how to hunt, though he taught himself how to stalk, and how to calculate a move; he's a knowledgeable and intelligent creature, with a natural understanding for the World, and his company - he can make a firm and accurate judge of character through being quietly observant.
Kijani is an open and bold brute, never afraid to hide his opinion. He is loud and obnoxious at the best of his mood, and fuelled to be playful and immature because of this. Though when he is concentrating, or feeling somewhat threatened, he's dangerously quiet and reserved; almost poised to make a move. Kijani is quite socially active Lupe, and this is due to his general curiosity in the World and his company. He is never hesitant or considerate - he will act and react on pure impulse and independence, his narrow-mind driving him on. When he's not being social, he's appreciating the quiet and the time for his own mind.
He's a selfish and self-centered brujo, constantly seeking and craving attention. When the brute is feeling content and light-hearted, he will present this through being humorous and amusing; Kija' has a brilliant sense of charisma, and when he is not being sarcastic or snide, he is showering slander over an unfortunate individual - or several - for his own amusement; it is to his delight, seeing his company become frustrated and possibly challenging. He's positively witty and charming, being quite an appealing character when he's up for it.
His dominance and arrogance can make him a conflicting and irritating character, and though he is back-stabbing, snide, and two-faced, he is a good Lupe to have on your good side; he will return a favour, and similarly, he will not forget whom has annoyed him. He will use his accute judge of character to make a lasting impression of his company, no matter who they are. If they have made a negative front on Kija', he will seek for revenge and never halt until he is satisfied; if the front has been positive, he will be sure to show a thin sense of loyalty in the least.
The brute will never offer any long-term security or companionship, and he will not offer trust to any of his company - he has no trust to give. Though he is a 'Dark' character, he is not all black and cruel; he does have a cold and ruthless nature with wit and sarcasm, but they can be channelled positively. The brute is only as dangerous as his company deem him.

My past; Kijani Saburi has quite the complex collection of face behind his name; the surname that he is blessed with is not one he gained through sheer simplicity and light-hearted breeding - on the contrary, it came to curse him through a long blood-line that originated from the Dark kind of lupe, in a time when murderous rape and back-stabbing was a way of the World. This time came to an end before Kijani came to existance, though he is quite aware of what it was all like; he's been told more than one tale of a bloody battle, or a repulsive rape. Opposite to what you may think, he does enjoy the odd account of villainous happening told from a daunting elder. This time only came to an end, due to the more 'honest' and 'noble' kind accomplishing over the Dark kind, through pure luck; they did not have the cold-hearted ability to battle their way to success, nor did they have the intelligence - they merely won by their number. The time of Dark came to rest, though Kijani Saburi has been raised and taught to expect an onslaught in the future; his family have an ancient belief that has been passed through each generation that, eventually, Dark will once more rule; such foolish belief that 'honesty' and 'purity' will win the day has been regarded as 'vulnerability' and 'fragility' since the birth of Kijani, and he will, with no doubt, pass on this belief to his own young.
The Dark do not consider their time as over, nor do they ever speak of their faith being tamed and vanquished by the Tender - the few who are pure Dark that remain know their time will soon come, and they shall abolish the Light kind for good; they are quite aware that if Dark have a stronger number, there is no doubt they shall win.
The time of Dark isn't one that is recorded, so to speak - it is fragmented, and scattered, the only remaining proof of the time through the memory and voice of those who were fortunate - and misfortunate - enough to witness it. Kijani can only trace his blood and name back to one lone brujo named 'Kobuk'. As far as Kijani will ever know, Kobuk might as well of been born as an adult; his youth was impossible to track, and Kijani was lucky to discover as much as he did, using the poor memory and vocal of every elder supporting the Dark kind that he could find - he would never sink as low as to disgrace his name and blood by speaking to a Tender. Not like it would have mattered; Kijani only knew Dark, and all Tender died during the time of Kobuk.
Kobuk was a large, muscular brute; he was a Timber Wolf, his pelt shaded as black as his heart - he had the vicious and malicious character of a true Dark, and a bodice worthy to carry such a label. His mind was as sharp as his tongue, and he had a charisma that many wished for. Though, Kobuk was weak in one aspect - the colour of his gaze was a shockingly pale blue, even from the moment he first sighted the World, and this proved fatal.
He lived in a thick, and secluded forest; those who ever found the entrance, didn't usually return. The land was barren, and surrounded by desert land that would never support a Wolf through any more time than a day; if they didn't die of thirst, they would soon die of starvation, or any other scarcity of essential. Thus, the forest proved a haven for most whom were foolish enough to dare venturing the desert in the first place. Once they had entered the forest, they couldn't return; not only did they need the little food, water, and shelter that the forest offered, but not a single Wolf who lived there would allow them to leave. There was no particular name in the collection of Wolf who lived there, and there was no name shared by them - they merely lived through abuse, assault, plunder, violation, and destruction. Even though they lived as one, it was every Wolf on their own.
Kobuk was born to take lead position in the hierarchy, and once he matured to the age of three, he took that task on with pride. He kept the small 'organisation' under a form of control, and claimed a femme to his taste once he had turned five; she was dubbed 'Osirii', and she had recently been captured and subjected to the forest life.
Osirii was a creature of incredible beauty; her pelt was coloured moon-washed ivor, and streaked with a hue of rich, passionate copper, matching her deep and dark gaze. She was petite, small and feminine; curvaceous and voluptuous, clearly in her prime as a Timber Wolf female.
Now the 'Alpha', in some sense, Kobuk demanded to know her age; she, too, was five. Pleased with all that he had seen and heard, Kobuk claimed her as his own, and repeatedly sexually abused her; it seemed to make him more ambitious to break her in when she objected to sex, and he had soon worn her down to be entirely submissive and meek.
A year after the arrival of Osirii, she fell pregnant with the young of Kobuk. This discovery was a delight to Kobuk, knowing that he now had an heir to continue his reign over the collection of Wolf residing in the forest. Osirii birthed a single whelp; a male, whom Kobuk dubbed 'Ariake'.
Once Ariake had been born, Kobuk showed little interest in him, and returned his attention back to the sexual activity he had with Osirii.
Ariake was raised in the forest, and learnt the way of Wolf there as he steadily grew more mature. The older he became, the most apparent it was that he was the son of Kobuk; his pelt was pure black, though he did not have the light gaze of his sire - he had the dark stare of Osirii. This confused Kobuk - why had his more dominant gene of eye colour not been passed on?
As Kobuk aged, his sight began to fail him; the pale colour of his gaze finally had reason revealed, and all knew that he would turn blind. The lupe became dependent on Osirii, though she refused to help him, hating what he had done to her - he had not entirely broken her; she despised him for taking her son, she despised him for abusing her body, and she loathed him for taking all that was once precious to her. To punish her, Kobuk starved her - though, in doing so, he starved, too; he kept her guarded in a hollow, and if she dared to do more than cower, she was beaten with no mercy by Kobuk, and any other Wolf whom was guarding the hollow under the order of their 'Alpha'. But Kobuk, too, refused to leave the hollow; he knew he would not be helped, and that he could not hunt. He starved slowly, dying not long after fellow six year old Timber, Osirii. It was surprising that such an oppressor met such a pathetic end, though his age was not over; all now looked to his single son, Ariake.
The son of Kobuk had grown bitter toward his father, and the little interest he had ever shown him in; he didn't appreciate him for keeping his mother from him, either. His contact with Kobuk had been kept strict as it was, and so the brute lacked any sense of affection - he grew just as Kobuk as wished; with a heart as Dark as his pelt. Ariake had just matured at the age of three, when he made the decision to leave the forest; this did surprise many, though he handed his 'rank' of power over to a vicious young lupe. Ariake wished to travel, to spread his dramatic idea of life to the rest of the World, and all Wolf kind - the same idea of how life should be, as his father had taught.
A year of solid, lone travel pulled Ariake in to a deeper chamber of tenebrosity, and those he met, he did his best to tell them of his life, and how he wanted the rest of the World to cower to this faith. A few showed interest, and few did not - Ariake believed that they didn't dare oppose a brute as daunting as he. One lupe he told his idea to, directed him to a land and a pack that he said would be of Ariake's interest; he was directed across the desert, to the land dubbed Desert Moon.
It was here that Ariake met a Timber femme named 'Sauda'; she was an intricate and manic Wolf, with her radiant brilliance shown through a coat as Dark as her mind. He formed a bond of some sense with her, as she had a high-ranked position with the pack that resided upon the land. Ariake showed little interest for this pack and land, though, and soon returned to browsing the massive expanse of the Earth, seeding his poisonous idea.
It was Summer when Ariake decided to return to the land of Desert Moon - a year had passed, and the brute was now five in his age. He had aged considerably in appearence, his black pelt speckled with smokey ashen, his gait more strained, and when he returned to the land, he met a fae whom seemed familiar; her name was 'Rajani', and she was a slim Timber creature of pure beauty and magnificence, her pelt a complete raven matching his own. She was in heat, and with no prepare intent, Ariake mated with her. She was the daughter of Sauda, from a Timber sire named 'Rowan'.
During the same Season, Rajani was raped by a Timber brute named Bullet. She birthed a litter where the blood was mixed, and Ariake was aware of only one male being born in this litter - his name was 'Devlin', and he found a mate named Keira. But, here, neither Kijani nor Ariake knew what happened, or where the blood went. There is one remaining descendant of this line, and that is a fae, named 'Miakoda'. She is obviously from this line, her pelt shaded raven just as those who were born the generation before, and before - she is, too, a pure Timber Wolf. As Winter followed and Ariake continued to travel with little purpose, he met a fae named 'Tarika'; she was Neutral, and travelled with as little purpose as he. The femme was a Gray Wolf with little beauty, though she was clearly feminine in her slender appearence and neat coat. Ariake was a pure Timber Wolf, and though he was eager to keep his blood-line pure, Ariake became desperate to spread his seed, aware that the home he had left in the forest was likely to be dead - his old home didn't offer much land for hunting, and the Summer was a difficult Season generally for prey, no matter how far they searched. He reasoned that at least this fae was the same age as him; five, now nearing six. Because of this, Ariake raped Tarika; she was a weak character, and soon broke and became completely submissive to the brute. He appreciated her company, and the sexual release she essentially was.
Tarika birthed a large litter, in a difficult age at the center time of Winter - prey was scarce in the land that the femme was trapped in with Ariake, and she found that this particular Season was more bitter than she had ever remembered; she had travelled lone for most of her life. The fae had a litter of three - first born, was a male whom Ariake named 'Sidus', followed by a second brute whom he dubbed 'Romeo', and finished with a femme he allowed Tarika to call 'Vesper'.
Sidus had the general masculine appearence of Ariake, though his pelt was scattered with ashen from his mother, and he had her dark blue gaze, too. Romeo had the pelt of his mother, though the Timber size of his father, and the dark gaze of him, too. Vesper, though, had the incredible moon-washed pelt of Tarika's mother, and Ariake's grand mother, with a dark blue gaze. For the first year of life for the litter, they were taught under the strict watch of Ariake; he killed Tarika soon after, no longer needing her company or ability to birth young. He simply raised them under the idea of life that Kobuk had created; the idea he had tried to spread for his entire life.
But Ariake met his blunt end due to the harsh Season of Winter; he didn't have the physical ability to hunt as well as he used to, and the land he now ventured was desolate with what seemed to have no end. None of the litter wished to help him, and he died with one content - knowing that he had passed on his blood, and the blood of his father, Kobuk - even if it had been mixed with Neutral Gray Wolf.
The litter split up, the mix of Gray Wolf and Timber all deciding to go a seperate way each. Sidus died when he was three, in a foolish fight after living his life alone; Romeo followed his death with his own, falling to an illness when he was five. Both of the brujo's lived lone, and travelled, not ever getting far or making much of a mark. Only Vesper, the single female of the litter, managed to survive a reasonable age of life; she was Neutral, not fond of the Dark idea her father had carried. Romeo was Neutral, too, though he met his fate and couldn't do much to clean the blood-line from terribly Dark, even if he had wanted to.
Vesper lived a solitary life until she reached a mature age of three - she had spent her life roaming the terra that stretched before her, and lived the most independent life possible. She mourned the loss of her youth due to her cruel father, Ariake, though she did not blame him for how he was - she didn't know of his past, as he refused to talk of it to her. Only Sidus and Romeo were informed of this, and she knew they were now both dead, as she had heard from word of mouth on her general travel. Kijani is aware that Ariake told Romeo and Sidus of Kobuk's idea of life, and asked them to spread it - that never happened.
Vesper was fortunate to finally cross a land that was ruled by a pack; they were named Isamu, and they lived at the base of a mountain, in a realm of teeming vegetation and prey. It was the first pack she'd ever crossed that were not Dark - Vesper knew this was because Ariake had died, and his harsh belief had died with him. The Alpha male of this pack was named 'Jsei', a handsome Timber Wolf with a rare copper colour to his thick pelt, and a Tender heart; he welcomed Vesper to his pack and the land of Isamu, where his affection for the femme grew - when Vesper reached the age of five, and Jsei reached the age of six, they finally fell for each other and formed an intimate relationship.
Vesper became the Alpha female of the small pack, and birthed her first litter during an abundant Summer; she never realised she would take to pack life so well, and appreciated Jsei for giving her a second chance at life, one she thought she would never have, due to the constant threat of Ariake clouding over her. The fae had a litter of three, just as her mother had done; the first born was a male, with the pelt of Ariake whom she named 'Mikazuki', followed by a moon-washed femme appearing the same as she, that she dubbed 'Kangetsu', and a final fae that she named 'Ariake', as though giving her father a second chance; Ariake had the same pelt as Tarika, her mother, had done.
The femme, Vesper, never spoke of her father, or his wicked way - it is thought that, here, the Dark age slowly began to corrupt and fall weak to the growing line of Tender blood.
The three in the litter lived a long life, while residing in the pack. When they reached their age of maturity at three, Vesper and Jsei decided that Kangetsu would take over Isamu, and the position of Alpha female. This was a well-calculated time, as both Jsei and Vesper died soon after, due to their old age. Kangetsu took the position with pride, and selected her own mate from the pack - a brujo she had been raised with, named 'Taarin' - a Gray Wolf of incredible handsome, and a Neutral heart of bravery and courage.
As Spring turned and Kangetsu aged four, she had her first - and final - litter with Taarin; she birthed a single femme, who the pair both named 'Kuva'. She had the pelt of her father, mixed with a more ashen hue that came from further back in her lineage, possibly from Tarika. When Kuva was only a year old, a drought errupted over the land of Isamu due to a strange insufficiency of natural water, causing a fire. The pack did their best to flee from the danger, though it was impossible, and consumed not only most of their land, but their pack - Kuva was sheltered by her mother, though Kangetsu fell to the wrath of the fire.
Kuva was thrown in to a World she wasn't the least familiar with; she had to live a life of complete independence with no affection, or the familiarty of company that she was used to. Her eccentric youth full of faith and possibility had been snatched from her, though she was fortunate to live in a realm where the Dark kind were falling to the increasing number of the Tender.
When she reached her maturing age, Kuva came across a male brujo, named Efreel - he came from a remaining Dark pack, and his heart was in the wrong place; he had been banished from the pack - one with no name, or purpose, similar to that of Kobuk's home - for being too Tender for their liking. He was a Gray Wolf, with African blood, and he became more Tender and Light under the influence of Kuva.
The pair fell for each other on the passing Summer of their fourth year of life, and they lived contently on their own, both having experience with independent life. They worked well as a team, and avoided any trouble. The same Season, Kuva fell pregnant with the young of Efreel - this was to their greatest delight, but this was short-lived; the pack that Efreel had originally come from were desperate for the Dark kind, as the Tender were taking over, and they were a remaining pack that supported the original idea of Dark, spawned from Kobuk and before.
The small pack killed Efreel, and impatiently waited for Kuva to birth her young - she had a single male whelp, who she had her final breath to name as 'Kijani'. He was granted the surname of Saburi, from his sire, Efreel, and his name originated from the remaining Dark pack.
It was with that pack that Kijani grew; he was raised and taught under their Dark idea, and learnt of his history as best he could. He is aware that it is only he and Miakoda that remain alive today, to carry the blood that was once pure of Kobuk. He is a fourth - and possibly, beyound - cousin to Miakoda, and in hope that she, too, can carry on the Dark age that was momentarily halted. That fae is a pure Timber, and Kijani is in hope that she has found a Dark land to carry on the blood she is graced with.
Kijani was raised by an old Timber femme named Tiralli whom was covered in a coarse pelt of flattering brown. She and the pack of Saburi taught him the old way of life and the Dark idea, until he reached his mature age of three - then, he set out on a mission of independence to spread the word of Dark and rally an alliance - just as his ancestor Ariake had so foolishly done, though, this time, Kija' knew what was to be done, and what was to be avoided.
